Location: Westminster Abbey, London, north transept, northernmost bay, east side at the top, on the back of the Pitt monument.

Type: Wall Plaque

Material: Marble

In white marble against a grey marble background, with two scallops below.
Sculptor: W. Behnes.

Note: In Westminster Abbey muniments is a letter of 27 May 1833, in which Behnes asks Dean Ireland for the fee that will be required for the monument. He was to receive £300, so that it would ‘not be of any considerable magnitude’. Behnes sent a pencil sketch.
